It’s time to break the patterns of worry and anxiety.

When anxiety is in control, everything seems so hard.

You’re not sure how it got this bad, but you’re ready to be back in charge. You remember a time when life had more balance and things seemed easier. You’re tired of feeling nervous, anxious or on edge. Your child seems restless, irritable, and emotional all of the time. Whether you want to regain happiness, confidence, and empowerment for yourself or your child

You’re in the right place.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to feel seen and heard. I believe that therapy should feel comfortable and casual. For children and teens, I use a variety of engaging activities such as games, art, and other creative therapy modalities to take the pressure off of typical “talk therapy.”

Meet Kerry

My favorite part about my job is seeing people grow into the person they always wanted to be. I especially enjoy connecting with teens and young people. I am a licensed mental health counselor and have been practicing since 2013. I bring authenticity, warmth, and understanding into my practice. Providing you support to reach your goals is my priority. I have been working with young people in many different capacities for over 10 years. I also love working with adults.

My Approach

I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2013. I have extensive training in psychodrama, which is an action based form of group and individual therapy that helps you connect with your emotions, improve your friendships and relationships, explore different parts of yourself, and allows you to try out new skills safely. I use CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) to help you change the way you think about things. Mindfulness is a core skill that I believe in and personally practice, and I enjoy teaching this skill to the people I work with. I also have training and experience in adoptions and trauma. I care deeply about encouraging healthy attachments for children and adoptees.
